What We’re Loving Right Now
As we move into spring and summer, we always find ourselves gravitating toward things that feel a little lighter, a little more relaxed but still rooted in materials and details that have depth. Nothing overly trendy, just subtle shifts that change how a space feels.
Lets go through few things we've been drawn to lately, both personally and in our projects:
Stripes, Always
Stripes are one of those patterns that never really leave, but right now they’re feeling especially right.
Soft, slightly imperfect stripes in linens, upholstery, even clothing add just enough structure without becoming overpowering. They read classic, a little coastal, a little European, but still enduring.
Flat-Roofed Breezeways
This isn't a new one for us, we have always loved a flat-roofed breezeway connecting spaces, but honestly, the list just didn't feel complete without it.
There’s something about that clean horizontal line paired with natural materials that feels both architectural and understated. It creates a moment...an in-between space that feels intentional, not just functional.
Deep Vein Stone
The more movement, the better.
We’re leaning into stone with strong veining, nothing too uniform or predictable. It becomes the focal point without needing anything extra. Kitchens, vanities, even smaller applications...it brings in that natural variation that makes a space feel layered and lived-in.
We have a few projects on the go right now with some new deep vein patterns, and cannot wait to share them with you!
Mixing Stone + Tile in the Shower
We’re moving away from overly 'matched' bathrooms and have been loving the stone slabs mixed with tile.
Whether it’s on the floor, niche, or surrounding walls it adds depth and contrast in a really quiet way. It feels more collected, and gives the space a more custom, thoughtful finish.
French-Inspired Gardens
We keep coming back to a garden that feels relaxed and a little overgrown in the best way. Like it has grown into itself over time.
Think lush greenery, hydrangeas in abundance and pathways that feel more relaxed and unstructured.
The goal is to create a space that looks like a lot of care goes into it, while still giving you back your time. These long summer days don't last long enough to spend it on garden maintenance.
What it all comes back to...
Everything we’re loving right now has a sense of balance. Structure mixed with softness, intentional design that still feels easy and materials that speak for themselves.
Nothing is trying too hard, and that’s exactly the point.
